CSX Interchange
The new system replaced what had always
been an individual effort on the part of
different entities to identify, track, and repair
damaged and defective cars. Railroads and
car owners must be registered with Railinc
to use the DDCT system and have their
contact information entered into the Railinc
FindUs.Rail system, per AAR Rule 114. This
enables car owners to direct cars to their
shop and for the shop to report repairs.
CSX now uses DDCT exclusively for all
damaged and defective cars.
Short lines needing to interchange
damaged and defective cars to CSX must
ensure that the information for the car has
been placed into DDCT before interchange.
For more information, please visit
www.Railinc.com/ddct. For assistance
or questions about DDCT, please contact
the Railinc Customer Support Center at
[email protected] or 1-877-724-5462.
