ShipCSX User ID
CSX has over 44,000 registered ShipCSX users and this community is growing daily. Each customer who wishes to access his or her information within ShipCSX is assigned a unique User ID that allows access to the system. The User ID is linked to all ShipCSX functions you have access to and is home to your contact information. We use this information to ensure you are kept up-to-date on the latest enhancements, new tool roll-outs, and CSX news that affects you and your traffic.

To ensure that you stay up-to-date on new tools and enhancements in ShipCSX, be sure you are using the User ID assigned to you. We have experienced some users sharing IDs. CSX's data security policy requires each person to have their own ShipCSX ID. If you need to secure your own ID, please sign up at www.ShipCSX.com. Registration is simple and it only takes a few minutes to complete. Once you register, we can set-up your ID to mirror any other User ID at your location so you can access what you need, when you need it.

If you need assistance securing or resetting your ShipCSX ID, please give our eBusiness Customer Support Team a call at 1-877-SHIPCSX, option 2, prompt 1 or email us at [email protected]
eBusiness Charlotte Workshop
The eBusiness Team hosted its eighth annual workshop at the Charlotte Marriott City Center on October 14-16. The theme was "Tomorrow Moves With Today's Transparency" showcasing the many ways CSX is striving to provide our customers with more transparent information in a real-time manner through mobile applications and notifications.

The 3-day agenda kicked off with a meet and greet dinner featuring Clarence Gooden, CSX Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. In conjunction with the workshop, the Florence division was in attendance for their Service Excellence meeting.

Customers received hands-on training around ShipCSX, CSX's eBusiness suite of tools, and interaction with various CSX departments. Workshop classes provided the inside track on how to use: Account Invoices, Car Order, Freight Claims, Plant Switch & Manage Inventory, ShipCSX How Tomorrow Moves, Shipping Instructions & Diversions, Shipment Management Suite, Transit Times, Rail Partners tools (Car Accounting, ISA, and Junction & Switch Settlement), and the Unit Train Management tool. Also featured was the newly designed ShipCSX mobile application which is now available for download through iTunes and Google Play.

In between classes, customers were provided the opportunity to visit a special area called the "Ask the Expert Zone" that included several CSX department booths where they could ask questions and discuss their particular business opportunities. Departments featured were; CSX Technology, CSX de Mexico, Car Management, Customer Service, Demurrage & Supplemental, eBusiness, Load Engineering & Design, Marketing Services, Pricing Services, Rail Billing & Collections, Railroad Education & Development Institute (REDI) Center, Junction & Switch Settlement, Service Design & Planning, Service Start-Up & Integration, Short Lines & Regional Development, and Total Service Integration (TSI).

The Charlotte Workshop was one of the largest to date with over 100 customers in attendance! The eBusiness Team would like to say THANK YOU to each of you who attended. It was a pleasure meeting all of you and hope you found your time with us informative and fun. The feedback you provided on our tools during the workshop is invaluable to us!
